Lovely ride along the coast to LA. Once we got settled in the Metropolitan Lounge we went off to explore Olvera Street.
You can't get more colorful than that street! That was about as much of downtown as we wanted to explore so headed back to the lounge for complimentary drinks and snacks until it was time to board the Texas Eagle.
We still haven't figured out why the schedule was put back 6 hours from its original departure time but are presuming there is some track maintenance going on somewhere. Since we're comfortable in our bedroom it really doesn't matter. 🍻🍷
Somehow it seems like a long day and so we're off to the land of nod. Norm gets the upper bunk!

The delay was mentioned on the evening news. I remember thinking, "what have you done now, Norm?"
